A heavenly blend of rich, fudgy brownies and creamy cheesecake layers, topped off with a decadent hot fudge and optional toppings.

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 16 oz cream cheese – softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional toppings: Whipped cream, Chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans), Maraschino cherries, Sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Brownie Layer: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth.
  2. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Prepare the Cheesecake Layer: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  6. Gradually add the sugar and beat until well combined.
  7. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract and sour cream until smooth.
  8. Layer the brownie mixture and cheesecake mixture in a baking dish, then pour the hot fudge topping over the top before baking.

Notes

Avoid overbaking to maintain the gooey texture. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
