A festive cheese ball made with cream cheese, goat cheese, Gruyère, and garnished with pomegranate arils, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8-oz.) block cream cheese, softened
  • 6 oz. goat cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyère (or sharp white cheddar)
  • 1/2 cup sliced, toasted almonds
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh thyme
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup pomegranate arils
  • Crackers, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese, goat cheese, and Gruyère until smooth.
  2. Gently fold in the toasted almonds, chopped parsley, thyme, kosher salt, and pepper.
  3. Using your hands, mold the mixture into a large ball.
  4. Prepare a large plate with pomegranate arils and roll the cheese ball in them.
  5. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 20 minutes before serving with colorful crackers.

Notes

This cheese ball can be made a day in advance. Refrigerate and serve for a delightful holiday treat.
