Crispy Ranch Parmesan Chicken Tenders are easy to make and full of flavor, with a crunchy exterior and tender chicken inside.

  • 1 to 1.5 lb chicken tenders or chicken breast strips
  • 1 cup buttermilk (optional for marinating)
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1½ cups panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or a small amount of oil for baking or air frying

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken in buttermilk for 20–30 minutes if desired.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or prepare your air fryer.
  3. In a shallow bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Remove the chicken from the buttermilk and coat generously with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place the coated chicken tenders on a lined baking sheet or in the air fryer basket and spray lightly with cooking oil.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes in the oven or air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 10–12 minutes, turning once.
  7. Check for doneness to ensure an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute whole wheat or gluten-free breadcrumbs. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze them.
