Delicious bite-sized treats that encapsulate the essence of traditional pecan pie without the fuss of baking.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pecans (finely chopped)
  • 1 cup dates (pitted and chopped)
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients.
  2. Finely chop the pecans and dates.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped pecans, dates, almond flour, maple syrup, vanilla extract, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Mix until it becomes a sticky dough.
  5. Roll small portions into bite-sized balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  6. Place the balls on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
