Ingredients
  

For the Tiramisu

  • 8 ounces Biscoff cookies These caramelized biscuits bring a deliciously spiced flavor.
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled Provides a rich, aromatic base.
  • 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional) Enhances the coffee flavor but is not necessary.
  • 8 ounces mascarpone cheese The cornerstone of the creamy layer.
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream Adds lightness and volume.
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar Sweetens the filling.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Elevates the overall flavor.
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder (for garnish) Adds elegance and hint of bitterness.
  • 2-3 crushed Biscoff cookies (for garnish) Adds a delightful finish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Brew a cup of strong coffee and let it cool completely.
  • If desired, mix coffee liqueur with the cooled coffee.

Whipping the Cream

  • In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form.
  • Gradually add in powdered sugar and continue to whip until stiff peaks form.

Mixing the Mascarpone

  • In another bowl, blend mascarpone cheese with vanilla extract.
  • Gently fold in the whipped cream mixture until smooth.

Layering

  • Dip Biscoff cookies into the cooled coffee mixture and layer half at the bottom of a serving dish.
  • Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the cookies.
  • Repeat with remaining Biscoff cookies and mascarpone until all layers are completed.

Chilling

  • Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Serving

  • Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and sprinkle crushed Biscoff cookies on top.

Notes

Chill your mixing bowl and beaters before whipping the cream for the best volume. Experiment with flavored coffee or add a hint of cinnamon for a twist. This dessert can be made ahead of time and lasts up to 3 days in the fridge; it can also be frozen in individual portions.
