Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit (232 degrees Celsius).
  • Smash a portion of the fresh blackberries slightly with a fork to release their juices.
  • Spread a thin layer of olive oil over your prepared whole wheat crust.
  • Evenly distribute the smashed blackberries across the crust.
  • Add a generous layer of shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Dot the surface with dollops of ricotta cheese.
  • Scatter whole blackberries on top.
  • Sprinkle finely grated Parmigiano cheese over the top.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and minced garlic.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Once out of the oven, top with fresh basil leaves.
  • Slice and serve immediately while warm.

Notes
