Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the brownie mix, flour, eggs, and vegetable oil. Stir until mostly combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Using a medium cookie scoop, place the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about two inches apart.

Baking

  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, looking for set edges and cracked tops.
  • Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 2 to 3 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

To enhance chocolatiness, substitute part of the water in the brownie mix with brewed coffee. Consider adding a teaspoon of vanilla extract or a pinch of sea salt. These cookies can be served warm with vanilla ice cream or drizzled with melted chocolate.
