  • 6–8 pieces hard-boiled eggs, peeled Use large eggs
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup sliced onions
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1/4 cup vegetable broth Can substitute with chicken broth

Seasonings

  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper Adjust to taste for spice level
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Boil the eggs until hard-boiled, about 8-10 minutes. Transfer to an ice bath to cool, then peel and set aside.

Cooking

  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter until bubbly and fragrant.
  • Add sliced onions and sauté for 3-4 minutes until soft and translucent.
  • Stir in minced garlic, garlic paste, Old Bay seasoning, cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper flakes. Mix well and cook for another minute.
  • Pour in vegetable broth and allow to simmer for about 5 minutes.

Combining

  • Place the peeled hard-boiled eggs in a large mixing bowl and pour the hot garlic butter sauce over them. Toss gently to coat.

Serving

  • Serve warm or refrigerate for later. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra spice, consider adding hot sauce or jalapeños to the garlic butter sauce. You can also mix in chopped fresh herbs for added flavor.
