Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for even baking.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced pears with ground cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves, brown sugar, and lemon juice. Toss until well-coated.
  • In another bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, rolled oats, almond flour, cubed cold butter, and granulated sugar until crumbly.
  • Press half of the crumble mixture into the bottom of a tart pan, forming an even base.

Assembling

  • Layer the spiced pears on top of the crust and sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture and sliced almonds over the pears.

Baking

  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  • Allow the tart to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

To enhance your tart, consider using a variety of pears for complexity and substituting brown sugar with maple syrup for richer flavor.
