Preparation

  • Add 1 cup of cottage cheese to a high-speed blender or food processor and blend until completely smooth.
  • Introduce 1/3 cup of natural peanut butter, 1 to 2 tablespoons of maple syrup or honey, and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the blender. Blend until fully combined.
  • Slowly pour in 1 to 2 tablespoons of milk, blending gradually until you achieve your desired mousse consistency.
  • Cover the mixture and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes for a firmer mousse.
  • Spoon the mousse into serving bowls and, if desired, drizzle with dark chocolate and sprinkle with chopped peanuts.

Notes

To achieve the best results, use a high-speed blender and choose natural, unsweetened peanut butter. Be mindful of blending enough and avoid over-sweetening.
