Avocado Mixture

  • 1 medium ripe avocado Creamy and velvety.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice Zesty and refreshing.

Shrimp Mixture

  • 1 cup cooked shrimp Tender and juicy.
  • 1 clove garlic Fragrant and flavorful.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Fruity and smooth.
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes (optional) For a hint of heat.

Baguette

  • 8 slices mini baguette Crunchy on the outside.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing) Enhances crispiness.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic for about a minute.
  • Add cooked shrimp to the skillet with a pinch of salt, black pepper, and optional chili flakes. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until warmed through.

Avocado Mixture

  • Slice the avocado, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Add lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Mash to combine.

Toast the Baguette

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
  • Toast in the oven for 5-7 minutes until golden and crisp.

Assemble the Toasts

  • Spread the avocado mixture on each toasted baguette slice.
  • Top generously with the sautéed shrimp.

Serve

  • Finish with a sprinkle of chili flakes and serve immediately.

Notes

Choose ripe avocados for optimal creaminess. Avoid overcooking shrimp and toasting bread too long.
