For the Assembly

  • 2 cups Fresh strawberries Juicy and vibrant, the star of the dish.
  • 1/4 cup Granola Adds a crunchy texture.

Preparation

  • Soak half a cup of chia seeds in one cup of milk in the refrigerator overnight.
  • The next morning, slice the fresh strawberries.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine one cup of Greek yogurt with two tablespoons of honey or maple syrup, one teaspoon of lemon zest, and one teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.

Assembly

  • In a glass or bowl, layer the chia seed mixture, yogurt mixture, and sliced strawberries.
  • Repeat the layering process until the glass or bowl is full.
  • Top with granola and toasted nuts.
  • Garnish with fresh mint leaves before serving.

Notes

Using fresh, ripe strawberries enhances flavor. Soaking chia seeds longer creates a thicker consistency.
