  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice Adds brightness to balance the butter.
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes Optional for heat.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add bite-sized chicken pieces, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for 5-6 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from pan and set aside.
  • Pour 1/4 cup of water into the same skillet and add fresh broccoli florets. Cover and steam for 2-3 minutes until bright green and crisp-tender. Discard excess water.
  • Lower heat to medium-low, melt butter in the pan, and add minced garlic. Cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Stir in soy sauce, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes, if using.
  • Return cooked chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  • Fold in steamed broccoli until evenly mixed with chicken and sauce.
  • Remove from heat, sprinkle with sesame seeds and parsley, if using, and serve warm.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor, and feel free to add more vegetables. Adjust spice levels to your preference. Marinating chicken in soy sauce and garlic for an hour before cooking can enhance flavor.
