  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Aromatic and zesty
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream Luscious and velvety
  • 2 tablespoons butter Rich and creamy
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Golden and fragrant
  • to taste none salt and black pepper Seasoning with flair
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Fresh and zesty
  • optional none fresh parsley or chives for garnish A touch of brightness

Preparation and Cooking

  • Season chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and desired spices. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  • Place chicken on the grill. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on one side, flip, and continue grilling until fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  • Meanwhile, prepare broccoli by tossing florets in a bowl with olive oil, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Roast in a preheated oven at 400°F for 15-20 minutes until crisp-tender.
  • Cook grains according to package instructions. Fluff with a fork once cooked and keep warm.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Sauté minced garlic for about a minute until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream, add a sprinkle of salt and pepper, and let simmer until thickened.
  • Assemble bowls by layering warm grains, sliced grilled chicken, roasted broccoli, and drizzling with creamy garlic sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley or chives.

Notes

To lighten the dish, swap heavy cream with coconut cream or use Greek yogurt with lemon juice. Feel free to substitute other vegetables or grains as desired.
