For the Chicken

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts Juicy and tender.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
  • If you desire a thicker sauce, stir in the cornstarch, allowing it to thicken to your liking.
  • Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring each piece is coated.
  • Cover the dish and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or preferably overnight.

Cooking

  • Preheat your oven to 375F (190C).
  • Transfer the marinated chicken to a baking dish lined with parchment paper.
  • Reserve some marinade for basting, then slide the baking dish into the preheated oven and cook for 25-30 minutes.
  • Check that the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165F (75C) before removing it from the oven.
  • Let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.

Serving

  • Garnish the sliced chicken with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
  • Serve with fluffy rice or vibrant veggies.

Notes

Marination enhances flavor; aim for 30 minutes minimum. Utilize a meat thermometer for perfect cooking. Use thickening cornstarch for a glaze-like sauce effect, if desired.
