For preparation

  • 1 can Cooking Spray To prevent sticking

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Coat a 13-inch by 9-inch baking dish with cooking spray and line with parchment paper.

Mixing

  • In a large bowl, whisk together brown sugar and melted butter until smooth.
  • Add eggs one at a time and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
  • In a separate bowl, combine baking soda, kosher salt, and flour.
  • Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips and M&M’s.

Baking

  • Pour the dough into the prepared baking dish, smoothing the top.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until a tester comes out clean.

Cooling and Cutting

  • Allow to cool for 1 hour in the dish before lifting out and slicing into bars.

Notes

These bars can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week. For freezing, slice and tightly wrap each piece before placing in the freezer.
