  • 8 oz cream cheese Brings a luscious depth to the mousse.
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar Adds sweetness without overpowering.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Enhances the flavor of the mousse.
  • 10 pieces Oreo cookies Provides the signature taste and texture.
  • 2 tbsp butter (optional) Adds richness for the topping.

Preparation

  • Whip the heavy whipping cream in a large mixing bowl on medium speed until soft peaks form.
  • In a separate bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture using a spatula.
  • Crush Oreo cookies into coarse pieces and fold them into the mousse.
  • Fill serving cups with the mousse and smooth the tops.
  • Chill the filled cups in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours to set. Optionally, melt butter and mix it with crushed Oreos for topping.

Notes

Ensure all ingredients are halal. Serve in elegant cups topped with extra crumbled Oreos or fresh mint leaves.
