For the beef sauce

  • 400 g diced beef Perfectly tender and juicy.

  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce Balances sweetness and heat.
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar Enhances flavors.
  • 2 tablespoons honey A natural sweetener.
  • 200 ml hot water For sauce consistency.
  • 1 cube beef stock cube Enriches flavor.

For serving

  • 200 g ready-to-wok noodles Soaks up sauce.
  • sesame seeds and fresh coriander (optional) For garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In the slow cooker, combine diced beef, grated garlic, finely diced ginger, onion, and chopped red pepper.
  • Pour in dark soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, cider vinegar, and honey. Add hot water and crumble in the beef stock cube, then stir to combine.
  • For extra flavor, consider browning the beef in a hot pan before adding it to the slow cooker.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on high for 5 hours or low for 8 hours, checking for tenderness.
  • Once beef is tender, fold in the ready-to-wok noodles and let them soak in the sauce for 15 minutes.

Serving

  • Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and fresh coriander if desired.

Notes

To make it healthier, you can use a sugar-free sweet chili sauce or add more vegetables. Monitor cooking times to prevent overcooking the beef.
