Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, crushed chocolate cookies, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  • Scoop out portions of the mixture and roll them into 1-inch balls. Place these balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Freeze the truffles for 30 minutes to firm up.

Coating

  • Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  • Dip each truffle in the melted chocolate and allow excess to drip off before returning to the baking sheet.

Decorating

  • Decorate each truffle with mini chocolate chip eyes, an orange candy nose, and pretzel stick arms before the chocolate coating sets.

Hardening

  • Allow the truffles to harden at room temperature or refrigerate until firm.
