Preparation

  • Pat the raw shrimp dry with paper towels and season them with kosher salt.

Cooking

  • Melt the cold unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it bubbles and turns golden brown.
  • Add the minced garlic and crushed red pepper into the hot butter, stirring quickly to prevent burning the garlic.
  • Gently place the seasoned shrimp into the skillet and cook undisturbed for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  • Carefully flip the shrimp and let them cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until fully cooked through.
  • Remove from heat and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp, then toss in the chopped parsley to finish.
