Instructions
 

Cooking the Beef Mixture

  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
  • Add the minced garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and chopped Thai basil. Mix well.
  • Let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to meld the flavors.

Preparing the Rice Paper Wrappers

  • While the beef is cooking, prepare the rice paper wrappers according to the package instructions, usually involving soaking them in warm water until soft.

Filling and Rolling

  • Once the wrappers are ready, place a small amount of the beef mixture in the center of each wrapper.
  • If using fresh vegetables, add them on top of the beef.
  • Gently fold the sides of the wrapper inward and then roll from the bottom to the top, securing the filling.

Serving

  • Serve the rolls immediately while they are fresh with your choice of dipping sauce.

Notes

Use fresh Thai basil for best flavor. Customize filling with other ingredients like bell peppers. Be careful not to overfill the wrappers to prevent tearing.
