For the ganache

  • 1 cup heavy cream Vital for making a velvety ganache.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease and flour your bundt pan well.
  • Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Add the eggs, one at a time, and stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.

Baking

  • Bake for 50–60 minutes, checking with a toothpick until it comes out clean.
  • Cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then turn it out onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Ganache Preparation

  • Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until it begins to simmer.
  • Pour it over the chopped chocolate and let sit for a minute, then stir until smooth.

Serving

  • Drizzle the ganache over the cooled cake and allow it to set before serving.

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients for the best results. Chill ganache for a thicker texture. Experiment with flavors such as almond extract or citrus zest for a unique twist.
